Set in the Chiltern Hills, Hampden House is a Grade I listed rare example of English heritage shaped over 650 years. Among the most notable residents was John Hampden VI, known as “The Patriot”, who famously opposed King Charles I over taxation and became a national figure during the English Civil War.
