Necker island

The extensive restoration of this iconic tropical retreat commenced in 2018 following the devastating impact of Hurricane Irma, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded. With much of the island reduced to a near blank canvas, the vision extended far beyond rebuilding structures - it required the complete reinstatement of critical infrastructure, including a severely compromised electrical network.

Smart Living

This exceptional opportunity arose through a longstanding relationship, built on Ashley’s proven technical expertise and solutions-driven approach.

In response to the island’s unique and complex requirements, we developed a fully integrated, island-wide control system centred on Lutron’s HomeWorks platform. This sophisticated solution was designed to deliver seamless performance, scalability, and intuitive control across the entire estate and multitude of potential users.

The island itself is thoughtfully divided into ten principal zones, encompassing the main operations office, guest accommodations, welcome pavilion, tennis pavilion, water sports pavilion, the Great House, and Temple House. Each zone operates via its own dedicated processor and dimming rack, all intelligently networked back to a central master processor located within the operations hub - ensuring precision, reliability, and effortless control throughout.
